Vince Vest, Comme des Garçons Shirt (My husbands), Rag & Bone Shorts (less expensive version here and here), Vince Loafers, Ray Ban Aviators, Chanel Bag

I’m always borrowing things from my husband’s closet, namely this Comme Des Garcons striped tee and his J.Crew button downs. The oversized fit of his pieces make for a laid back, thrown together last minute sort of look that I love. This is more of an androgynous, minimalistic look compared to my usual colorful and feminine outfits, but it feels good to switch things up every now and then. I do love a classic black & white look and this long Vince vest will be going over and under everything this fall.

Free People Coat, Ella Moss Top, Free People Faux Leather Pants, Vince Loafers, Givenchy Bag c/o Luisaviaroma, All The Wire Ring

When it doubt about what to wear, always lean back on your neutrals. A classic combination of black and camel will be forever chic and timeless. Since we pretty much wear coats and jackets year round in SF, I picked up this Free People one knowing how much use I’d get out of it. It’s more like a heavy sweater than coat and is so cozy that I keep reaching for it when I get cold in our apartment. I am also obsessed with my new Givenchy bag thanks to Luisaviaroma- it’s the perfect shape, color, style, everything for fall! I’ve always loved the Givenchy Antigona bag and this three-toned version is extra special. You can shop more of my favorite black and camel pieces here…

Express Top, Express Jeans c/o, Vince Loafers, Mulberry Bag, Maison Michel Hat

Happy Friday! Ending the week on a neutral note with this all grey look. I’ve always loved this simplicity of a monochromatic outfit, but the polka dots in this Express blouse and small black details break it up from looking too boring. Comfort is always key, but I never want to sacrifice looking cute and stylish. I usually put together a similar variety of this look during the week when I’m super busy or on the weekends while relaxing. I love that it works both ways. These Express jeans also fall under the “don’t have to sacrifice comfort for fashion” category and don’t break the bank since they’re currently under $40!

A big thank you to Express for sponsoring this post.

ASOS Coat, Heidi Merrick Tee, J Brand Jeans, Vince Loafers, Chanel Bag

The start of the new year brings a fresh slate and I’m excited to kick it off with this simple, but glam look. I’m currently working on a post with my top 10 clothing and beauty items and this striped tee (or any striped tee in general) is definitely on there. I hate to sound like a broken record because I know I’ve mentioned it more than once on here, but I love stripes. Anytime, anywhere. And what says bring on 2015 better than a faux fur pink coat?! This one from ASOS is under $100 and such a fun piece to throw on and glam up your look. It’s not too fluffy and the shade isn’t “in-your-face-pink”.

I’m usually not a fan of making New Years resolutions, but I had the urge to write down some of my goals for this year and forego the typical “eat healthier/work-out more” and focus on having fun and enjoying life! A few of them include learning film photography, taking tennis lessons, trying to be more patient, plan more weekend trips with my girlfriends, take hot yoga classes, go on more adventurous dates with T (trampoline park? yes! dance lessons? yes! cooking classes? yes, please!). I’m hoping if I write them on here for all to see, then you guys can hold me accountable right? :) What are a few of your goals and resolutions for 2015?
